OpenConext day 2025

OpenConext day 2025 was held on 13 october 2025 at the SURF Offices in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Below you’ll find the provisional programme. A few of the morning discussion topics are still open for change — and that’s where we’d love your input.

10:05 – Agenda and unconference explanations
10:10 – Short introduction per federation: FCCN, Kennisnet, Govroam, SSO-Rijk, SURF.

A couple of requests from our side:

  • In the morning session, we would like each federation to give a short update (10 minutes) about what’s happening on your side. Could you please prepare 2 or 3 slides?
  • For the morning discussion slots, please let us know what topics you’d like to see on the agenda.  We have some ideas of what we would like to discuss (governance of OpenConext, technical challenges for OpenConext), but we would very much like to know what is relevant to you and if there are any specific topics you would like to talk about.
  • Lunch will be vegetarian. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.

OpenConext day 2024

OpenConext day 2024 was be held on 23 September 2024 at Kennisnet Office, Zoetermeer, The Netherlands.

OpenConext Day 2023

The first International OpenConext community day was held on 22 May 2023 at KPMG's office in Amstelveen in The Netherlands, followed by the OpenConext hackathon at the 23rd.

OpenConext Day 2022

The first event was the OpenConext-meetup NL at SURF HQ, on 17 May 2022.
