OpenConext is an open source collaboration management platform; a service that enables groups, teams, or organizations to bring together a set of federated tools such as wikis, mailing lists, or video conference software for use in a collaboration. Individuals can log in with the credentials from their institution or organization and create groups, select applications, and begin their collaboration with others. This page directs you to the home page that describes the OpenConext use case and the architecture of the platform. Other pages in this wiki go in to more detail on how to deploy an OpenConext instance as well as how contribute code to the OpenConext project.
