Documentation for Deployers is designed for individuals or organizations planning to install, configure, and run the OpenConext platform. It assumes the local administrators have knowledge of Single Sign On technologies as well as federated technologies and basic Linux system administration skills. Some basic end-user documentation is provided, but since each site may offer different applications and different branding to their users, more detailed end-user documentation will be up to the sites deploying OpenConext.

If you would like to be more closely involved with the OpenConext community, join our mailing lists.

Deployer documentation can be found on Github: https://github.com/OpenConext/OpenConext/wiki

A manual deploy on Ubuntu Xenial (but valid for any recent Linux distibution) can also be found on Github: https://github.com/mrvanes/OpenConext-Howto
